Industrial organization Empowering teams to independently optimize processes
Empowering teams to independently optimize processes
Initial situation
An industrial company wanted to free up capacity to focus more on future-oriented topics. The key lay in more efficient processes – and in employees who could independently drive optimization. This required both methodological expertise and a strategic approach to sustainable process improvement.
Our contribution
We conducted a baseline assessment to visualize personnel and material costs from a process perspective for the first time. Building on this, we identified inefficiencies, evaluated potential measures, and developed a concept for strategically embedding continuous improvement. In parallel, we empowered the internal process and quality team to conduct these analyses independently in the future.
Effect
The employees themselves identified the greatest efficiency levers, prioritized measures according to effort and impact, and implemented them independently. Through targeted training and support, the company can now continue process optimizations without external assistance – measurably more efficiently and with lasting capabilities.
