The client's challenge
The client's project management team identified potential risks of project delays and quality issues due to staff shortages. Additionally, both the project management team and line managers lacked visibility into the current resource utilization across projects. Our role was to provide clarity on these challenges and develop effective countermeasures to address and improve the situation.

Our results
Our data analysis highlighted the current overbooking situation, identifying the most affected teams and roles. Together with the client's project management team, we developed targeted countermeasures, categorized into quick wins, as well as mid- and long-term solutions. These actions included re-evaluating projects based on strategic importance, adjusting scope, and reprioritizing staff allocation. Additionally, a new process was implemented to prevent similar challenges in the future, alongside the delivery of a roadmap for further digital solutions.
